Home2Grow is a licensed, government funded childcare provider, dedicated to helping parents Auckland wide access affordable in-home childcare. We offer childcare to meet the individual needs and routines of your child in a safe home-based environment.
Our educators can care for a maximum of four children – including their own – under six years old, at one time. Of these four children, two of them can be under two years old. Our educators follow the New Zealand early childhood curriculum TeWhāriki, to ensure they provide the best education and care experience. They are also required to plan and document each child’s education and development, as well as keep a daily diary for each child where they document their day including all aspects of care such as meals, nappy changes and sleeps.
We believe that early childhood education and care sets a foundation for future learning and development. Our role as management is to support our educators to reach their full potential and provide quality in home childcare for our families. We achieve this by providing training and advice from our fully qualified programme coordinators who are available for contact and support 24/7.

We provide support and guidance with planning fun curriculum ideas, supporting child development and guiding children’s behaviour. We also encourage our educators to take advantage of the many handy resources available in our community, such as libraries, Playcentres and community events. Educators are either self-employed or employed by the parent depending on the type of educator they are. Home2Grow does not employ educators directly; however we do offer contracts/paperwork and support for parents taking on employment.

We believe that the Auckland based Home2Grow Childcare experience gives your child the best possible start in life. You don’t have to take our word for it though, read the childcare testimonials from happy parents, children and educators to find out more.

I have found Home2Grow to be the perfect place for my daughter. She loves going there and I know her educator really cares about her. Home2Grow allowed me to be flexible with childcare hours, which suits my husband’s job and mine. The small ratio of carer to child means less sick days and she has had many wonderful trips out with them. Having her in someone’s home means she keeps the same routine at both places and has her own space, bed and sense of belonging.

Julie is a perfect balance between being firm and loving. She lays down the rules in the most amazing and positive way. For Julie looking after kids is not a job, it is her passion. All the kids under her care are treated equally and the best part is that they are treated as one of her own.

I would surely recommend Rita to anyone who would like to enrol their kids in home based daycare. Sidharth made good progress during his time with her. Everyday I used to get updates and the feedback was really helpful for me to monitor and improve my approach too.
